A Note From The Pastor:

GOD called me to Calvary Baptist Church in September 2003. I had served in the ministry for nearly 11 years. I have been privileged to labor in almost every facet of the ministry. In those years of service, GOD has brought me on a journey to know Him and to share the truth He has given us to live by. I have a burning passion to know GOD and lead others to experience His wonderful love. Many are going through the mechanics of life, performing their duties, doing their best, and yet they are not experiencing abundant life. The question then is: Why? If we are doing all that seems right, why then is nothing happening? I think we have failed in a piece of the foundation of Christianity. We are not loving GOD with all our hearts. JESUS said that all the law hangs on loving GOD with all your heart. This is why the Church at Ephesus was rebuked. They were very busy doing what they were supposed to do. Yet JESUS had somewhat against them: they left their first love. We go through the motions of service, and yet we don’t walk in freedom and liberty. My passion is that every Christian would fall back in love with JESUS, and that every person who isn’t sure about being a Christian would come to know Him and the wonderful relationship GOD desires to have with them.
