--------------- Thank you for taking the time to visit this site.------------------------

Calvary Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Bible believing Baptist Church.   Our purpose is to introduce to you the exciting Calvary Baptist Church.  We are building a church to meet the needs of people.  Our mission is to build strong families and individuals. We are living in a day of enormous attack on the home, morals, and Christianity. People are facing greater temptations and overwhelming destructive influences today. Alcohol, drugs, and many influences have a grip on people of all ages. Anger and violence are reaching into the youngest of children. People are going through the motions of life, and yet still are not experiencing freedom in JESUS CHRIST. At Calvary, we desire to build a church where people can come and find shelter, love, and biblical principles to equip us to become the parents and individuals that we need to be.  As Pastor, I have committed myself to help the family make JESUS CHRIST the center of their home. I hope you will visit the great Calvary Baptist Church!   May GOD bless you and your family.

God has a wonderful plan of Salvation.   I have had many people ask me how a person can know for sure that they can go to Heaven, how they can be at peace with GOD and experience forgiveness for their sins.   With many false ideas we decided to put it into print, for everyone to know.

First of all the Scripture says that everyone is lost, or condemned to an eternity of damnation. Romans 3:23 says all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Romans 3:10 says there is none righteous no not one.  What this means is that all will be forever lost or separated from GOD in a state of damnation. But GOD in his great love sent His only begotten Son, JESUS CHRIST, to pay the payment for our sins. This was a free gift to us that we cannot earn.   This gift is called salvation or being saved. It is also called being redeemed or born again.  How you receive this gift or be saved hinges on what Ephesians 2:8-9 says:   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.  This lists 2 essentials to be saved or get to Heaven.  First, you must have grace. The question then is how do you receive Grace?  I Peter 5:5for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.   In order to receive grace you must humble yourself before GOD and admit to Him that you are lost and too wicked to be allowed to get into Heaven.   Grace always gives you the desire and ability to believe and obey the Word of GOD.   When GOD shows your need of salvation and you accept that, you have completed half the steps.   Next you must believe.   Believe that you are a sinner, and that CHRIST shed His blood for your sins.   When you truly believe from your heart that He died, rose again, and shed His blood for your sins, you are truly saved. Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. To call upon Him means from a broken and humble position.   When a person truly humbles themself before GOD, repents, and believes on the LORD, they are clearly born again into the family of GOD.   This makes them a child of GOD.

Why don’t you call upon the LORD and ask Him to save you.   Revelation 3:20  states:  Behold, I (JESUS)  stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. This door is the door to your heart, open it up and let Him in.   Sup means to clean up or bring order, let Him clean up your life and bring order to it.   I challenge you today, to ask yourself two questions: Where will you spend eternity?  What do I base my beliefs on? This will determine your eternal future. If you receive CHRIST as your Savior, please contact us.   We would love to be of help to you!
